Chapter 6

The new school year has started and I am in the same room as I was in with Finny over the summer. I decide to join the rowing team because if Finny can no longer play sports, I guess I will. Mr. Ludsbury notifies me saying that I have recieved a long distance phone call, it was Finny. He asked me about the room and was relieved to learn that I currently have no roommate and am living alone. He then said that he wanted to make sure i wasn't going still going crazy from when I told him that I shook the branch that caused him to shatter his leg. This bothers me tremendously, but decide not to tell him the truth about what really happened. He then asked me about sports and told me that I have to play sorts for his sake.
